One day hero Shawl - Crochet Diagram

The shawl is medium sized and drapes beautifully as a half scarf half shawl. Using high contrast colours you achieve a great graphic effect with the moss stitch. It allows you to play with color, so hit your stash 😉

About the pattern and YouTube guide

The crochet pattern is a diagram. In the diagram you find QR-codes which leads you directly to the YouTube video instructions. The first QR-code you should choose is a general introduction in how to use the crochet pattern.

Tools

1 Chrochet hook. Size: 4,5 or 5,0 mm.

Darning needle and a pair of Scissors.

Crochet tension

10 by 10 cm crochet = 36 masks and 31 rows.

Measurement of finishes work

Aprox 180 cm x 58 cm.

Materials

For the Shawl you can see here I used aprox 400 grams of yarn:

• 2 skiens of Madelinetosh, Tosh Merino Light. In total 200 grams. Yardage: fingering weight, 384 meters (pr. 100 grams). Colour: ‘Lapis’ blue.
• 2 skiens of DMC Petra nr. 5 crochet yarn. In total 200 grams. Yardage: 400 meters pr. 100 grams (aprox 800 meters of cotton mercerized yarn). Colour: Unicolor B5200 white (bright or optic white).
